Apparently there is good ISK to be made from FW?

Hi!

Long time listener, first time caller.

I'm seeing all these about how you can make eleventy gazillion ISK by doing something improbable with FW.

Does anyone have a step by step guide?

I want to be space rich and this seems like an easy in.

Please advise and thank you so much in advance.

Step 1) Get a stealth bomber
Step 2) Get an alt in a fast frigate (~3-5km/s)
Step 3) Run FW missions.
Step 4) ???
Step 5) Profit.


Personally I got bored with it after some time but it was an easy ~2b isk a week..

If you plan on doing it, do it now. With the FW changes coming in the next expansion, that level of income generation for so little risk/effort will likely be made impossible.

yeah theres isk to be made, but it comes at a cost of your own mind melting into what will resemble something like a bowl of nacho cheese.

you can stop that happening by pvping on the same char, over your isk fountain plex, failure to do so may result in the aforementioned mind melting.

As Maudy says, it's not really easy ISK, if I do more than 2 FW Missions I start getting the urge to gouge my eyes out with a rusty fork just to ease the boredom.
FW is not easy ISK & it's not supposed to be an easy income source, I can't blame you for wanting some easy income OP but I urge you to stay away unless you intend to actively participate & fight for your faction, no side needs another PVE farmer.

Isn´t that happening already? I seem to recall that +5 implants took a dive....

Last time (until yesterday) I bought +5 implants they were over 100 mil each, now under 80mil. I approve of this :) Cheaper implants (among other things coming from lp stores)!

there is actually a guide out there. IDR which website its on, google it. I know its there

pretty much:

Train alt to be able to fly frigate
Join FW
Go to Minny LS
Grind out FW sites solo, you dont have to kill anything, just speed tank until you capture it (~10 min)
Get LP
Trade LP for Navy Faction stuff
Sell Navy Faction stuff
Profit

Since the latest "buff" to FW yes, you can make serious isk. Just build alts for all factions, fly unarmed speed-fit ships into plexes, win. Run if someone comes if looking for a fight. Give it a shot. Everyone does it, including the die-hard RP FWers. After all, isk is isk, no?

Just had some guy saying in a chat channel he made 48 billion on one alt in one month and a half. Not sure how truthful that is but if that's the case I think i'll be doing some FW till it gets nerfed.

One impact of this has been the complete annihilation of some of the faction ship / module markets.

A Fleet Stabber hull today in Jita is going for 49M.
A Hurricane hull is going for 45M today.

Madness, pure madness, but this is what happens when FW LP farmers have millions of LP to dump.

I make about 4b a month, which is not that much really. I don't know how people have the patience to farm 10+ billion a month.

Make it idiot-proof and someone will make a better idiot.

You create a noob alt, train him for a few days for basic equipment. Put him in a cheap, fast, cap stable AB frig. Have him circle a plex, rinse and repeat. If you base your calculation on Fleet tempests and Tier 5, you should bring in about 200 mil/hr.

If your toon gets popped, you put him in another ship and continue....Since it's a low Sp alt, it costs you nothing but a frig, no risk, no worry.

Completely broken in my opinion, but that's CCP for you, attempt a fix, and create farmville......Shocked
