Posts like this only hurt your cause. If you wish people to be treated normally for being gay, then stop making posts that segregate yourselves by claiming such great progress for the cause.

I am straight, do I make posts about how awesome it is that my favorite actor is getting married, how its so great that he is with a woman, retaining the ability to have children? No. I do not. If I said these things, I am starting an issue.

Now you come here, to a place where generally speaking nobody cares one way or the other, and you create an issue by claiming great progress for the gay people who like SCI-FI.

Point is. Stop bringing it up. And it becomes a common normal thing. Keep treating it like its special every time someone comes out of the closet, and you'll be permanently "different" then the rest of us.

What's this got to do with EvE?

Star Trek was all about reaching out and exploration and peace and all that hippy crap, EvE is about murdering the other guy before he can murder you and steal all your stuff.
