It's a bit disappointing to me that this isn't the official design, as I'd very much like to fly this. Nicely done.

I'm not a drone pilot, but I like the look of the Gallente boat. Like others have said, while it seems most true to its racial roots, itdoesn't look much like a warship.

The Caldari design is sexy, though not exactly consistent with previous Caldari ship profiles. I hope to fly this one anyway.

I like the Caldari, Gallente and Coercer 2.0. The mining frig is cool too. But that minnie brick?

If those are the new destroyers then you might find me flying them more. I never cared to fly them because of how horrible the current ones look.

Once again, CCP gets high marks for artistry but an F in design practicality. I don't know why they all have lopsided senses of symmetry. Also, on the Amarr one, why would you put the bridge outside the natural protection of the hull? It is begging to be targeted and destroyed. That would happen, if CCP didnt supress that possibility against all common sense.

The designer seems to be a fan of German WWII gear, with the Minmatar dessie sporting the turret of a Tiger tank and the Caldari dessie being an overloaded Type VII u-boat.
Nonetheless the Minnie tank turret is a little too ww2'ish, and too little eve'ish.

Given those images I got both the caldari and gallente ones confused regarding which end was the front from looking at earlier models/renders. I feel slightly bad now. The amarr one also feels like someone added an amarr themed body kit to another race's hull.

This new line digs at the same feeling I got for the new stealth bombers.

Caldari and Gallente are awesome
Amarr is ok... I guess?
Minmatar is a box with panels on the front.

The bottom one is infinitely better than the turd CCP shat out. Given that CCP has accepted player generated designs before, if your design can get enough attention they might be convinced to use it.

Its been stated by CCP that the "Art Team has not requested any feedback".
However when have they? Not like they ever came to us before and asked "Hey, who likes camo?"
We will get whatever they choose to give us.

Apparently the only feedback the art department is allowed to receive is glowing praise when they release awesome Stabber concepts.

I'm starting to think maybe a nephew of Hilmar designed the Minnie destroyer hull and that's why they're circling the turdwagons.

Well one important difference is that your version have that space worthy feel to it while CCp version have more of wreck on the bottom of the sea look to it,i don't mind retro look at all (it is so radical that people are turn down by it and that's good,back to the roots) but it haz to look like space ship(more) not some sunken crab shitter. (less)

If you flip the bow/stern of the ship (so that it is flying away from us) then I see this is a great design that fits perfectly into the Minmatar suite of ships.

Any chance of a mock up? (Probably just need to draw on some engine exhaust, something like this???)

which, BTW, the U.N.S.C classifies as a Halcyon-Class Battlecruiser. so I'm guessing the one ship in EVE that would be like the POA the most is the Hurricane.
