Tts seems lately goons and in particular The Mittani are solving lots of problems with eve.
Firstly he nerfed supercaps

This is just recent, but there is the whole concept of what The Mittani and Goons represent. The represent everything that is right and good about eve, scourning misery amongst eve players, the whole concept of trying to improve the game. Goonswarm can simply not be trusted in anyway and neither can its leadership, which in turn is the Chair of The CSM.

Now whether you believe trying to make things better for everyone is part of the game or not, its actually bad for the game and to be honest the future of the game, how can you expect new players to want to enjoy the game and stay in the game when you have the biggest noob recruitment alliance, giving them something to doas soon as they enter the game? No wonder people leave.

Many people in eve do not know how goons work as a fundamental bad at eve alliance, and when people deal with someone like The Mittani who is supposed to represent his alliance as a whole, believe that he would be trustworthy, because he holds this position. Of course they would.. But The Mittani is using the CSM to everyone's advantage by making the game better for everyone.


Its total abuse of his CSM position, where people will trust him for all the hard work he has done and he is abusing that. Its not on nor acceptable. CSM members are not seen as people that hold some trust and this should not be allowed by any CSM member when they are in post. Mittani is abusing his power and is not fit to hold this post...

Even Vile Rat should be promoted too as he also represents what goons are..

You may ask, well he plays the game too, why cant he fix the problems that have been plauging the game for years.?
Well he can, even though I personally hate goon, eve allows it. The issue isnt about helping as such, its about a person who is supposed to be held in low regard by the players, and abusing this to help people. However his other actions suchs as playing eve online etc is not in the best interested of the game either. I quote the CSM Scope.


The purpose of the CSM is to represent society interests to CCP. This requires active engagement with the player community to master EVE issue awareness, understanding, and evaluation in the context of the “greatest good for the greater player base”. The scope of issues is restricted only to EVE, its ongoing development, and limited meta (out-of-game) issues which have direct relevance to the EVE universe. It is important to keep in mind that the CSM will not have formal powers within CCP, they will have a voice inside CCP.


Some people stated and The Mittani also stated that he represents HIS constituents. This is Goons not the the playerbase! Now some are saying well only 1700 of those votes he got was from Goons the rest wasnt.

Seriously? Do you expect us to believe that the rest (or most of) where not from people who were legitimately concerned about the issues EVE has and their many alts?

However the scope clearly states there should be active engagement with the 'PlayerBase' and also act “greatest good for the greater player base” this clearly is not the case, how can the biggest alliance which The Mittani Leads, which actively involves itself in playing eve, and things like creating content sometimes si 'for the greater good of the player base' Its not! at all!

The issue isnt wth the fixing things or playing the game whatever, its about players seeing these people as people they can trust! But they use this position of trust to do anything, such as change the game so that it is playable.
If a person contacts a CSM about anything in game, most players would expect to be treat like they are kings.

Then they get bugs fixed, how can that be good for the game, and what the CSM represents? Seriously

Its plain downright corruption.

If this wish to do what they do, fine, but the should not be in a position that represents players TRUST, they should step down!

No wonder eve has a bright future cos ccp allows stuff like this to happen from the CSM Chair..

Im sure many highsec pubbies/alts will troll the thread so flame away - sticks and stones

but if you agree +1 like this post, i think its about time we stood up to this cr@p

I will also be filing an official petition and also be contacting as many MMO editorials as possible, to give this maximum exposure, on how much this is right.
