the stabber as well as the other cruisers under the "attack cruses" forum post are now being turned into long ships. which i am excited about I've always saw the stabber as a ship that should use arties, and now it looks like it going to be tat way.

first warp to belt and don't spook the rocks they are likely conspiring to do something... then target and MWD to rock... quickly lock it and fire up the scram and web... then hit it with everything you have


I use mining drones on mine... well mining DRONE... as in singular... pffffft.

Personally agree that 1 small drone on a cruiser is pointless. Either do away with them and make it 5 guns, 3 launchers, or make it 6 guns, 2 launchers, or keep them and add at least 2 more for 15m3 min. and make it 5 guns, 2 launchers. = totally random.

P.S. When are we going to get a Bomb Launcher Cruiser? Big smile

Thats not going to happend, for balancing reasons you have to choose between:
5 highs, 5 turrets
6 highs, 4 turrets, 2 launchers

Anything else would put them out of balance.
The 4/2 already puts it at about the same dps as 5/0 ships.

Just saying, I always hated the 1 drone deal. Balance is up to someone else, and I was just throwing things out there. Point is, it should either lose the drones, or get more of them. Whatever is done with turrets and launchers to compensate is based on that decision. Ultimately, 6 highs is enough, and while I didn't mention it, I was sticking with that principle in mind.

Well giving it 4 or 5 drones combined with that speed would make it very powerful, i think this is how it pays for that extra speed. Maybe they should remove that one drone slot but i dont mind it.

People should realize that two missile launchers are better than one 25% rof bonused turret in terms of dps. If not, just train your skills.

BTW, missiles and turrets will both benefit from TE/TC...

PS for the drone : salvage drone ! How can you spit on such a thing !

Just saying a 25% bonus to ROF is more than a 25% damage bonus. In fact, it ends up being a 33.3% bonus. Run the numbers yourself if you don't believe me.

Just need to train your skills up. So, yes, it will be difficult to fit and fly, but it will be the new FOTM T1 cruiser because it fits precisely into the mould of the current nano-lite doctrine of Speed Is King. Pity everyone will likely just try slapping in 2 neuts because it's better to train more omber processing than it is to train missiles.

The fits, posted above, are hilarious. You will want as many TE's as possible and an RCU so you can fit T2 HAMs, and make use of Javs and Barrage. Remember, the TE's will bonus BOTH WEAPON SYSTEMS.

Well post a fit of your own then, I just made some up because no one else could do some simple math.
