Those Eve Uni guys in Maseera have more balls than any guy involved in highsec "wars". Keep up the work in lowsec, don't stop fighting and learn from your mistakes. Use a proper fitting for some selected ships and expand it later (just check the killboards from small and medscale lowsec corps when you are in doubt). Get all your guys used to the most basic combat rules in lowsec and soon you will send some of those pseudo highsec warriors into quiet mode.

Nothing "pseudo" about our highsec warriorism.

Highsec "war" is literally pseudo as it is in 99% of all cases either station hugging or ganking. Most highsec warriors can't stand the heat lowsec brings with it, with RvB as exception.

So what I hear you say is... I need to stop what im doing in Highsec and join people like you in low ganking noobs and mission runners in gangs instead of on my own where I am always outnumbered?

Quit using the OOC quote i personally don't use it. And you unistas know this to be true. Confirmed I just chased a 15 man uni fleet that had at least 3-4k dps with my cynabal solo. Uni very often runs away from fights that they outnumber us on. You guys don't teach PVP you manufacture blob idiots for null sec.

Mostly this yes.

I have to give E-Uni serious props on their PvE content, as I've even used their wikis myself and they're generally up to date, accurate and helpful, particularly when I wanted to learn how to do PI.

When it comes to combat however, E-Uni students have no idea how to respond appropriately to a given situation and I'll give you an example of what I mean. Several months ago we used to roam to the low sec home of E-Uni at that time which was Hagilur/Dudreda when Amamake was slow and we'd bring 4-6 people and our fleet comp was always 1-2 tackling frigates with kite fits and capable of dealing with other frigates (usually slicer/comet) and the rest bombers carrying some e-war backup, because we had to cross high sec to get there anything larger than frigates could prove tricky.

Usually when we jumped into Hagilur there would be ~20 Uni members doing whatever and we'd grab a quick kill or two to get attention then not leave the system staying at a celestial or somewhere obvious. E-Uni would then put away the 15 rifters floating around and come out to fight in Hurricanes/Drakes and Blackbirds. Our bombers would damp the blackbirds out of the fight, tacklers would call their points/kill drones if needed, and the bombers would rain death on the battlecruisers. Soon Uni would warp out selling anyone still tackled down the river and the whining in local would start about how we were totally un-counterable.

What they never seemed to realize was that if nothing else the rifters would have forced us to leave. The bomber damage against the rifters would have been poor and the rifters would have been fast enough to catch them while the bombers were fast enough to stay away from battlecruisers. The slicer and comet could handle a 2-3 frigates but 15 would have been way too much, we'd have been overrun or forced from the field. It was precisely the slower/larger ships we had set up to fight and E-Uni would not disappoint because this is what they were taught to do. They are not taught how to respond to a gang that is unusal and so they learn to blob up for safety. To pretend we were going to wipe out ~20 E-Uni in one go is silly but we'd usually get 2 or 3 rounds out of them before they docked up and gave up but we'd get 2-3 BCs and a blackbird on most engagements for no losses. In short E-Uni pilots were putting away a fleet we'd have trouble with in order to engage with a fleet that would feed us.

New players need to know more than just how to fit a ship and follow FC orders. They need to know WHY the ship is fit the way it is and tricks they can use with the setup to gain advantages. Jude Lloyd has been working with his own training corp and what we've been doing is keeping the recruits in high sec arranged 1v1s against whoever they can find. We give them a fit for the ship they want to use and explain why we've set it up that way. They get on vent with us before they engage and let us know what they are fighting and we give them a quick run down of what to expect then have them tell us what's going on as they fight and we coach them through it. They pick up the basics very quickly this way and a couple of those guys came down for frigfest last week and were forces to be reckoned with, even in their T1 fit T1 frigate hulls. They are for the most part very interested in improving and branching out ships/weapons etc. Give these guys a few months and they will be monster solo/small gangers.

Reality has an almost infinite capacity to resist oversimplification.

Good luck.

I am happy to see Eve Uni feeling some pain honestly. They put on this warm and fuzzy image of being the good guys but what I really see from them is an elitist attitude more than a helpful one. I have watched them be hypocritical and abusive many times, all while being CCP's "darling" and collecting massive amounts of ISK for the personal gain of the players who run it. The wait to get into the Uni is absurd last time I checked. Is that line dwindling a bit? Is it less than a week of lurking in channel waiting to be interviewed now?

Your pitch is laughable, by the way. "These guys attacking Eve Uni think they're LEET. But they're NOT LEET! You guys are LEET! You guys should KICK THEIR BUTTS for thinking they're LEET!" I think it is hilarious that you insult the group attacking the Uni while you desperately beg for help to fight them. What's wrong, Eve Uni, with all of their numbers and knowledge can't deal with a simple wardec? Maybe the Uni needs to HTFU and adapt like the rest of Eve does.

RvB has joined as an ally already, which I think is completely outside of their mission tbh. The players there signed up for, well, RvB not to ride out and save Eve Uni. So the Uni still needs more help? How about taking some of that tax money the Uni has been banking for years and hiring some mercs instead of debasing yourselves with clumsy attempts at manipulating others to fight for you for free.

I haven't posted in this thread for a while so I figured I would do an update.

Recently since rvb assisted eve uni we have moved up to the jita area to give them some trouble. We figured we would give eve uni a break to get their crap together so all in all its been going okay.

One thing that has been different with us over the past week is it that we have been recruiting a bit and trying out new fits/tactics on the blobs with small gangs. If everyone checks out our losses you will see some very interesting/juicy fits that arent necessarily considered normal. Some are pretty hilarious! The way we see it, this war is permanent so we might as well experiment and test things out in the meantime. I believe our membership in a few days should be a permanent group so we can then recruit a little bit more Lol

Now on to another subject, we recently made a video that purely consisted of eve uni/rvb kills. The first comment they posted on the video(by Haxaism) shows their true colors...... Full of S**T and oblivious!

I'd love to know who this is, cos its not showing in the corp API logs or wallet info. The 0.1% tax rate probably has something to do with that.

If the war is permanent as you keep stating, why then have you pulled the war dec yet again? Oh wait, I know the answer..

You are YET again exploiting the mechanics so that you can keep the cost down....

I am really glad you have posted here many many times stating how permanent the war dec is... vs... pulling the dec again.

As I was gone all yesterday I forgot to pay the bill Roll

But lets pump the brakes on this subject real fast. First you call us noobs, now cheaters? If CCP looked at my wallet on my other characters it would quickly come to light that I could easily be in the top 20 of eveboards isk rankings. Expensive or not, I have no problem paying for fun.

Love how you use the intent to abuse argument to support an alliance widely known for its actual and repeated abuse of game mechanics relating to war.

I expect Zeus Maximo has turned off auto payments to avoid yet another actual exploit that remains and is being intentionally used that makes mutual wars still cost ISK.

A EVEuni director (whose name will stay anonymous) is confirming that the tax is so low that he has to farm a bit by himself.

So what is the excuse for the 4 other times then? Amazing how basic game mechanics like 'auto paying' bypassed you experts altogether.

Shocked

EvE Uni was basically at 6 bil against your 12 bil. Kill wise this was well over 300 kills on them to reach 12 bil and only 33 kills on you to reach 6 bil.. LOL

Add the 500 mil + cost of war per week and you were about to lose the isk war in total.... Not surprising you keep "accidently" the war bill every now and again to bring the cost back down, right?

It is quite obvious that you have never been into EvE Uni coms and heard any of the FC's, guest lecturers etc or you would know that they don't just get told how to fit something with no given reason as to why it should be fit like that.

I take it that everywhere you go in low sec you come across fleets of people who fly the right ships to counter you non stop and even the haulers who come through that high sec gate in Amamake are well trained in counter Hereticism....Lol

Nice try on attempting to promote a has-been corp/alliance that's better days were last seen left on the faction war battlefield when Heretic's was run by the Man who actually FOUNDED it and his Co-Ceo who put all the hard work in getting Heretic's where they ended up.

If you want more recruits, you can achieve this easily by putting your money where your mouth is and going to EvE Uni management and doing some lectures, running some fleets and teaching them the plethora of your knowledge.

That's how Agony and everyone else who wants to recruit from EvE Uni does it and so far they are quite successful.

Considering I have so many things going on during the week it can get hard at times to remember to pay a bill. While you all are busy placing all of these complaints on us you should also ask CCP if they would send a notification out a few days before the war invalidates so I would remember to pay it :)

The rest of your post isnt really a surprise. I just explained to you that isk isn't a factor in anything we do and then you try to make a jab about a few losses? Haha if I cared about losing isk then I would fly frigates all day. The way we see it, we killed over 300 ships while only losing around 30. 10:1 ratio works for me.

By the way that shiny legion loss this week was mine. No I'm not invincible like it may seem :) First loss ever against eve uni!
