I would actually class american football as rugby for wimps, @ Touval I presume you're talking about Aussie rules football which is just plain brutal.


Interestingly, depending on the position he plays, American football players are either grade A sprinters, military grade strategists, or well armored death machines.

American football players wear all that equipment because they would be killed or maimed otherwise... and still are at times.

Having the endurance to run for long periods of time while kicking a ball has it's merits, but literally being driven into the ground by a 300 pound linebacker a few dozen times during the course of any given game tends to separate the men from the boys. Smile

Football is a collision sport.
Not even comparable.
Soccer is a bunch of guys standing in front of a goal with their hands on their nutz. Lol
....Although when that bald french dude headbutted that greasy italian, I think America briefly took notice. Well, at least the insomniac Americans who were watching ESPN8 "The Ocho" at 3 AM.

Really, since when did the goons become a race or an ethnic group?
I don't think a bunch of people whose only thing in common is a pathological need to ruin the enjoyment for others qualify as a race or ethnic group.
