EDIT......but as the POS update is art/industrial mechanics/smallholding/avatar related, it can't be a big factor in something called, Retribution !

I think the new crimewatch stuff will be a significant improvement to the game, could be fun Smile


Ring mining comes after POS revamp and that may be arriving next year in the winter.
If all things go well (and if I read that huge summer CSM transcript right). But don't expect the POS revamp this year, that's a huge overhaul.

We actually already did get a new session change icon. The old one was a spiny circle of lines akin to a buffering video. The current one is now a solid circle that works like a reverse module timer and actually reflects the time left. The old one spun arbitrarily.

The concept art for the new Amarr destroyer has leaked out. The good news is, it's not a star destroyer anymore.

My first thought was it's a remodeled coercer and not a new ship. It's certainly not a bad design, but not exciting either. I think the U-boat is my favorite with the minmatar scraping tool being the least favorite one.

One of the best things CCP does compared to other MMO's is Trailers! I hope the Retribution Trailer comes out soon(er)

Manipulating the market - this is exactly what i was thinking of when stating pods only. However I admit payouts would be low, and this could be discouraging for bounty hunters.

No. Player harrassment is against the Terms of Service.

But then, as long as anyone could pick any random guy and put a bounty on his head, beat him on the spot with a PvP alt and suffer no consequence, and as far as that was a valid game mechanic, then CCP would be sanctioning a certain path to player harrassment.

This is why I wonder wether Massively has got it right and CCP really means what the article says.

Placing bounty doesn't give kill rights. Doing this would cost you even more than just beating the guy without placing bounty. They'd suffer a sec status hit on the pvp guy.

Sure someone could go around putting bounty on people for no reason, but they'd need to put a bit of ISK on each guy to make them worth the shooting, and they're using their own ISK doing so. There's no reason for people to do it to random pilots.
