Pursuant to past policy of releasing reports on events and intelligence of note, such as Awakened Infomorph and AARs on the Nation incursions of YC 111-112, The Synenose Accord is please to make available an incident report on the recent Angel Cartel raid in the Oddelulf system.

The document is available here. Please note that pursuant to internal corporate policy, it has been redacted to remove sensitive information.

Respectfully,
CDR S. Baxter, CN (Ret.)

Excellent recap of the events. I am curious as to the classified sections; I take it these would be on-site reports/analyses from various sources?

Thank you, Commander Baxter. An excellent review. I hope that the remaining elements of your report will soon be declassified, once the period of sensitivity has elapsed.

Excellent work, as always, Commander Baxter. Thank you for a voice of sanity discussing just the facts of this interesting development.

"but whatever else this was, we're coming up empty".

Hmmm - did they not even know?

Great report. Thanks!

Unfortunately, corporate policy precludes discussing the content of these sections.

All information right now points to "compartmentalization of intelligence" by Cartel leadership. Based on intercepts from the raid in Bogelek it appears the senior on-site officers aren't being told what to look for, but they know the Cartel is in search of specific technology.

It is good to see a professional response to this incident, I applaud your efforts. Such analysis will prove crucial in determining just what the Cartel's goal is behind all of this.

That's the impression alright. But such an endeavor has failure written all over it. You can't send in troops to get something without them knowing exactly what they are there for.

Unless....

The main force was a diversion operating on a vague version of the overall mission. I think if there is another attack on a likewise facility, some attention may be needed to sniff out a "third party" operating at the same time, and such, they are likely to be the ones knowing exactly what they are looking for.

I also get the feeling that this was a merc job, with benefactors who are too tight-lipped about what they want; they don't trust the people they hired - but merc jobs is a little out of character for Angels. Guristas or Mordus Legion are better known for merc work.
