When you anchor one of these somewhere, is there some sort of timer that makes it disappear or whatever?

Until it is unanchored, destroyed or removed by a GM as result of petition.

Pretty much what he said, they will last forever once anchored and online. Until you or someone else removes them.

Are there systems that have lots of Mobile Warp Disrupters pretty much perma-anchored?

Because it would seem since they aren't all THAT expensive, you can maintain a lot of them.

It looks like most paths I've been to at least, there are like maybe one for each "gate vector" at most. But not usually between the planets and suns.

I would guess, if you can afford it, why not just cover the entire gate from all angles. Perhaps leaving a path open to a POS maybe.

Because they can be destroyed very easily.

try going to drone regions. they close their system down 100KM around all gates.

The sad thing yes.

I have jumped into deadend systems/constellations before and been smashed with the lagfest of 100+ t1 lrg bubbles just randomly scattered all around the gate.

I have once, needed to take a 150+km burn just to get out of the bubbles and that was at the empty side towards the back.

However, petitioned many times and GM's have removed such bull.
