EVE theme for Chrome v.2.1

Hello space peoples!

As a result of a Twitter exchange starting here, I've created an EVE theme for Google Chrome.

It's not perfect as the tool I used seems to have some limitations (the downloads bar, for example, remains pale grey, which is awkward since the text on it picks up the orange of the other text), but it's better than nothing Smile

You can try it out here. Please let me know if you've got any suggestions, or know any ways to fix problems like the downloads bar!

EDIT: It looks like Rixx Javix is doing some themes too. I'll update here with them when he posts them.
EDIT 2: One Chrome restart later, the downloads bar has picked up the colour scheme. Woo!
EDIT 3: 1.1 now live. Same link works.
EDIT 4: 2.1 now live. Retribution-themed! Patch notes are on the download page. Existing users, please note that you will need to redownload to see the update as I cannot auto-update your installed theme.

I like it. My only suggestion is to change the very top part where the tabs go. The pictures behind them can make it hard to read the tab title. Also, when I open a new tab, the picture with the planet is too small for my screen resolution so I'm left with a bunch of white space. Other than that, looks cool. I plan on keeping it as my theme for now. I actually didn't even know there were theme options for chrome.

Hmm...I'll see if I can find a way to cleanly remove the location text from the frame image, and maybe fiddle with the tab background colour too. As for the new tab image, well, I'm limited by my own resolution...I'll see if I can create a composite image, or I might be able to get a shot on my larger monitor.

1.1 update! Fixes issues reported so far, along with a few other tweaks. Also added a patch notes section to the ChromeTheme page as fixes may be frequent (along with updates for EVE expansions). Enjoy!

Bump to prevent lock (I will be noting updates here, don't want to have to create a new thread when the time-lock kicks in) and also to note that 1.2 will be released shortly after Retribution, and will feature a Caldari theme with explosions. 1.2 will also fix the image resolution by increasing the native size to 1920x1024, and should fix the E tag on the New Tab screen so that it isn't just that one block sticking out in the middle of nowhere.

I totally agree. Also the text is orange. Why is the text orange? Is the text in EVE orange? Why is the text orange?

The 1.1 version should have fixed the tab title issue by removing clutter and making background tabs more opaque.
The text is orange to match the EVE website themes, which match the Chrome look better than the in-game styles.
And no, I don't have any control over the font. I think you can set fonts in Windows that would affect the font in Chrome, but that would also affect other programs.

2.1 update is here! Sorry about the delay. I decided to call it 2.1 instead of 1.2 because it's a new expansion: the new scheme will change the first number for expansions, and the decimal for fixes. Yes, I did need to fix this release even before posting it here Smile

The link in the OP works for this update as well (I'm not uploading a new theme, just editing the old). I'll be editing the OP shortly to reflect the changes. A main point is that this version now has 1920x1080 background images. Due to scaling and alignment issues smaller resolutions lose some parts of the new tab image, which may include the EVE logo depending on resolution. This is something I am working on fixing for 2.2.

EDIT: Existing users will need to redownload to see the update as I cannot auto-update your installed theme.
