usually, you warp cloaked to gate, instantly jump and can usually warp and cloak almost instantly (cloaking delay around 3 seconds). But SOMETIMES its 12!!!!!!!! (f***ing) seconds, someone else having this issue??
This can get your ship killed if that happens in a wrong moment!

Explanation to your "problem" is in your own text. When you find that you've learned to fly cloaked ship one step better.

if its your pvp char you're posting with. then I have 60x of your kills, probably half of them with cloakies, so dont tell me how to fly them.
You say my "issue" is in my own text? That would be what exactly?
Where its usually 3 seconds, sometimes its 12.
You cloak, warp, jump, wait 2 seconds, warp, cloak, jump, wait 2 seconds, warp, cloak, jump..... wait 2 seconds, cloak and eve tells me I have to wait 12 seconds for cloak. WTF

I fly a cloaky Proteus and I have never experienced this issue. Ever. As soon as i jump I can immediately cloak and warp, what is this waiting 2 seconds every jump?

OP is talking about re cloaking? I thought he was talking about being unable to cloak after jumping through a gate?

cant tell you if session change is in progress in these not very frequent events.

exactly this.

because if you drop at gate you decloak, instantly jump you wont be able to instantly recloak again. You have to wait a couple of seconds, but not 12 normally.

Only thing i can think of is lag on your end. Have flown cloakies for years, never heard of this issue, other then a poster above said, session change timer. now i have hit the cloak twice and had to wait for a few seconds to reuse it again. Maybe you are doing this aswell?

Indeed this past week I have been 'stopping' too far away from the gate to jump while CovOps Cloaked. I have to wait around 10 seconds sometimes to approach the gate and jump while un-cloaking in the meantime.

This is after 2 1/2 years ingame on same connection and IS a new issue.

define "too far".
landing 2600m off the gate isnt unusual.

Is this related to the change allowing ships to jump while cloaked? Have you made a bug report? Run logserver while playing, then send it in for CCP to have a look at

That would happen occasionally at that distance.

But now it's about 3100m or so. Again, after over 2 1/2 years one would think I had experienced this before, but no. Just wondering if there might be a connection to your issue.

Remember your pressure points ... whoooooosaaaa. I need a muscle relaxant after reading this post.

I cannot say I have experienced this before but I know sometimes I have accidentally hit the cloak button twice which has de-cloaked me again leaving me to wait x seconds before I can re-cloak. Is it possible this has happened to you?

ships now decloak and jump automatically for you, or rather the jump won't be cancelled because you forgot to hit decloak and aren't decloaked yet
