Project Nemesis is looking for new blood.

If you find yourself wishing the people around you knew what they were doing, PRONS might be of interest to you.

Project Nemesis is a smallish PVP corporation focused on universal small-gang PVP with a long track record of accomplishments. You may know us from the videos of Ten Tron, Bossdrum, and others. With a tradition stretching back 5 years we are, to my knowledge, the smallest corporation in the top-100 rankings (if you care about such things). For a short time we were once the "good thing" about ad0pt; if you don't believe there was one, you may have only seen it after we left. I do not actually know how many alliances have collapsed entirely as a direct result of our actions.

ArrowExpect to be doing PVP in every security level, H/L/0/W. US, EU, and AU/NZ timezones are all good.

We are looking for pilots that, at minimum:

  • Are competent in PVP and in the game in general, able to scout and travel in dangerous areas
  • Are able to fly at least HACs, Recons, or BCs with T2 weapons
  • Are active and willing to take initiative
  • Have a microphone and are friendly, it is important that you not take offense easily (we are nice guys though). We are often harsh but never unfair.
  • Understanding of comms discipline and a willingness to follow it when necessary
  • Can sustain their own subscription and ISK needs

  • & most importantly of all:
  • Are willing and able to learn, develop, and take advice. As pointless as it is for me to say this, you should be reasonably intelligent. We need pilots who can catch on quickly when they come across something they don't already know. If you can't do this, you will be falling behind.

  • Some nice bonuses would be:

  • Competence in both shield and armor tanked ships
  • Competence in a variety of different hull types, from nano skirmishing to armor battleships
  • Ownership and ability to simultaneously operate an alt character
  • Small gang FC experience
  • A strong solo/duo PVP record
  • Competence and experience with the game mechanics in every security level and around wormholes
  • Strong scan-probing skills
  • Able to idle in and easily pass through any high-sec system (e.g. sec status over -2, no standings issues in empire)
  • Able to relocate your own ships and assets efficiently with an alt

  • We hold our pilots to high standards. If you feel you could meet these prerequisites, send in a mail or an application. If you feel you could prove your value despite missing some of these given a bit of time, then try applying then too. Bumps are appreciated.

I can completely 100% vouch that this is defiantly maybe not a trap.

EDIT: But for reals you will never be a member of a more compelling and unique corp if you were to join.

In early 2010 I joined this corp 'cause Oto said they were cool guys who did good stuff and knew what they were doing; I'd enjoy it.

In the 30 months since then, being a member of PRONS has ruined the rest of EVE for me.

Going on three years and hardly a day goes by that I'm not glad all over again to be in a corp that is just so much better than any other... devoid of idiots, devoid of drama, where everyone knows what the hell they're doing. Once you're a real member of PRONS you'd qualify as a fleet commander and resident lead expert in most other PVP entities. I wish I was exaggerating. I've been in fleets with PRONS where something like 3/4 of the people on the field are FCing all at once and everything runs perfectly. We've gone up against even numbers in battleships, recons, and mixed compositions to wipe the floor with the opposition more times than I can recount: it's a fact of life here, the way the game works. And at the end of the day to have Havoc hop on comms and talk about his belly-button wiener... there is no better group of players in the entire game and I could never be at home in any other corp.

Dear reader, I am not making this up. This is 100% sincere.

If all this sounds good and you too want to be a part of this lubed-up PVP machine, app in. If everything checks out we'll give you a shot and if we haven't kicked you out again after a month or two then I guess you're part of the family.

    Hi,

Please stay on topic here; derailing recruitment threads is against the forum rules - even if it is a free bump!

    Thanks and fly safe.

Was there a deleted post that I missed? Because I don't see any problem posts here.

Faction battleships are an eventuality for when we figure out how much we like the new guys. For now we're just looking for applicants.

If you think you can become good at EVE, give me a ring.

Brand new player here, obviously not trying to apply. I am however still trying to form long term goals for my EVE experience, and it sounds like being a part of your group would be a pretty awesome experience compared to my other goal (my other goal was becoming an anti-pirate, but it seems no one else I can find is interested in extremely high risk/no reward activities). Do you have advice for a new player planning to try out for your coalition in the future? I am a full time+ student with limited time availability. What kind of activity expectations do you guys have? How many years would it likely take to get to the level where I could be considered in an application?

Honestly if you're smart, driven, and can work with other people and able to figure **** out fast you could be a candidate in as few as 2 or 3 months.

If you are looking at figuring out how to make do in the game and get a handle the myriad of complicated mechanics therein, I would look at joining Millennial Dawn or another group with a record of nurturing and teaching new players how to survive in the game (I've heard good things about agony unleashed's pvp university, though they charge money). I would not recommend EVE University no matter who says it's good; they haven't been good in years.

Respect, admiration and companionship ... are 3 things you will not receive while in the ranks of prons.
You WILL receive 1 good time, which is allocated to you at a later date. On a more sensible note. 99% of fun is literally filtered by prons, to make sure it is up to FUN standards.

Prons - Founders of fun (may or may not be true)
