What happens to my jobs?

Quick question. Say I install some research jobs that are scheduled to finish in 6 weeks. Then I run out of account time tomorrow. What happens to those jobs, do they still run and then I can pick them up if I reactivate my account? Or do they get cancelled?

Your jobs should keep ticking. Skills will keep going for 3 days and LP will stop pretty much right away.

If you take all the sand out of the box, only the cat poo will remain.

RP*

LP is given instantly per mission or when incursions end, RP is given over time and THAT will stop hehe

So, "ghost copying/ME/PE" is still possible?

They don't get cancelled, but instead continue to run to completion

As far as I know, yes it is.

One other aspect of this is that if the jobs are submitted as Corporate rather than Personal Jobs then someone from the corporation may be able to pick them up. I'm not sure if there's a permissions issue on this or not though.

But I do have alts that can pick up each others corporate jobs. Never tried it with an account that had been canceled but ... I don't see why that would make a difference on a corporate job.

you're right -- once you install a "corporate" job, it is no longer "owned" by the installer but rather by the corporation. Anyone with the roles will be able to deliver/cancel those jobs at will.

One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia
