And all over an enyo lol.
The Enyo isn't the point. It was an 80m Enyo, but that's not much and financially I don't really care about the loss. My issue is that pretty much anything without a cloak or fleet without it is limited to just one system. If an Enyo can't get through, what chance does anything bigger have? 'Minimal' is the answer you're looking for.

You know, you can kill the rats right?

That would require effort, and possibly working with others. "shudder"

It's much easier to complain that his Enyo can't survive in a low sec Incursion area even though his "target" (which was anything he felt confident in engaging with said Enyo) apparently has no problem at all.

The longer this nonsense thread goes on, the more obvious the troll is.

Did this Nomad camp have pointing rats?
I wouldn't know. I was through the constellation without any of them ever bothering to lock on… but again — nullsec incursion being a bit more difficult might make all the difference.

It was particularly silly back when incursions were released on the test server, and you had to stick around for a while to get them to engage so you could record some data about their attacks. Lol

My exploded Enyo would like to have a word.
I have a word or four for it as well: “don't stick around”.

Pick a different route.
Yes. If he managed to get in somehow, then so can you. Figure out which way he took and use it. Don't use the route where you dozed off for long enough to lose your gate cloak. You suggested that there was another route that he might have taken. I'm suggesting you follow his example.

The simple fact is this: he managed to do something you couldn't. Regardless of the mechanic involved, this means he beat you. Your loss was inevitable and just so happened to be at the hands of an NPC — a death you could have avoided. Your failure to play the game as well as he did does not constitute a problem with the game mechanics.

Me reacting negatively to a bad game mechanic doesn't make it a good game mechanic.
True. What we have in this case, though, is you reacting badly to a good game mechanic, which in much the same vein doesn't make it a bad mechanic, no matter how much you wish you could use it as an excuse.

Bumping this back to the top because everybody deserves to share the OPs drops of saline solution.

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

Seeing as we've had numerous responses to this thread (including a dev answer!), and that we're now just arguing without going anywhere, I'll be locking it. Fly well when going through dangerous space.
