Why are NPC stabbed: what message does this send

many times im sure we have all had a NPC ship warp away from us EVEN WHILE SCRAMBLED, surly this risk free pvp attitude is a bad message to the young players?

"people really scramble npc" yes they do, and they shouldn't bother because it doesnt work anyway.

Forgive my Intrusion, but I think the only NPC ships that warp away are the ones which have story characters in them in missions and Arcs specifically. They are supposed to warp. afaik, engaged rats don't warp either.

Not sure what the OP was on about but some belt rats in null can warp off.

Not that I take this thread seriously I hasten to add.

I'd rather have NPC battleships warp off instead of zooming away from the belt at 2000 m/s as they sometimes do.

Irritating as hell.

That explains why they're so weak, apparently they try to fight players with warp core stabs...

Low sec belt rats warp away. Never had one scrammed warp away.

belt rats do warp, I have seen it before. We hotdropped a ferox in a low sec belt with noobships, killed it, and then some rats came in (2 frigs and a cruiser). At first everyone warped to our cloaked scout to avoid them, but then decided to warp back in and blob the rats with noobships just for the heck of it. (This was before noobship buff ) As we landed 10-20 from the rats, they warped off. The whole OP laughed because it looked as if they were running away.

but yeah they warp, not mission rats, only belt rats or gate rats

Now as some one who'd like to shoot players one day, id like to know that risking my ship wont result in some guy escaping from my impending doom pvp.

or even if i fit warp core stabs to my ship, i might make the guy feel bad. thats never good for morale or sportsman ship.

are warp core stabs even legal in low sec?

Well, they might, but if they're stabbed like that, the risk to your ship is lowered. Trade offs ~

Wow, so you decide to go blobbing and are suprised when they warp off. Maybe next time you should bring something the rats can fight instead of a huge blob.

All the poor npcs want is to orbit something and cash out lp.
LEAVE THEM ALONE!

how to fix eve: 1) remove ECM 2) rename dampeners to ECM 3) add new anti-drone ewar for caldari 4) give offgrid boosters ongrid combat value

NPCs using cap would just result in LOLPWN tactics involving one player full of neuts and another will full DPS vs Laser NPCs
