As you may or may not be aware, there is now a legitimate offer to rent access to TEST Alliance's space in Fountain. There are, of course, still people doing rental scams, both inside and outside the alliance, but provided folks take all the necessary precautions, they can now gain positive standings and access to TEST's Fountain systems.

That said, how do you think this will affect the market? My guess is the following will occur:

Naga price up - Nagas are one of the most profitable ships to rat in Fountain with. This is likely to cascade to Caldari Navy antimatter prices as well, and perhaps Fed Navy (but most people don't even realize they're the same ammo as Cal Navy).

Vindicator/BPC price down - This is a little more speculative, as this primarily drops in complexes that may not be much more farmed than they are currently.

Corelum A-type loot down - the most profitable sites to run in a Naga are Forsaken Hubs, and these can escalate to 6/10s - which in turn drop cruiser-level A-type loot.



Any other ideas offhand?

But that's not what this post is about, Ji :P I want to know how this will affect my fellow marketeers if it gets off the ground and we suddenly have an influx of ratters abusing Fountain. I've put forth my guesses (simplistic as they are), any thoughts on your end?

I rent out C6 WH's as well....

C1XD-X is available.

Yes, the price is 2.030 Bil. Sadly you cannot pay for half a month. The payment will be made on the same day every month. For example, if you pay today, the next payment will be 18th of August.

Let me detail the steps that we will have to go thru together in order to set you up smoothly in your new home:

1.You will have to send me the first month deposit (2,030,000,00 isk) with the reason -Rent C1XD-X-

2. After the deposit has been made, you will have to give me 24 hours to notify all our Fountain residents to set blue standings with your corporation and let people know that the system is rented. I will notify you when all standings have been set. It ussually takes less then 24 hours.

3. At this point you will have to set blue standings with the alliances and corporations from the list I will be sending you after step 2.

4. After standings are confirmed from your side, I will give you access to our intel channels and then you can safely move into C1XD-X.

As Leah is helpfully pointing out, we have not been able to prevent people from choosing to rental scam, which further complicates matters. I've attempted, in her case, to ameliorate matters, but the official ruling was "If you don't follow the rules, it's not our fault if you get scammed".

So anybody who -is- interested in renting, please make yourself aware of official rental policy - all TEST announcements are found on forum.pleaseignore.com and that portion of the forum should be publically accessible.

I like to think that if you read our official messaging (which is easily found and which our diplomats reference often) you'd never get successfully scammed by anybody in our alliance except perhaps recruitment scam, which isn't allowed in Dreddit (but is a corp-by-corp policy on whether to allow it). I can't help it that people can't read and then expect to not have any lasting consequences

This topic isn't even supposed to be about the renting, it's supposed to be about the market. Quit trying to derail it.
