I want the drone bay in my Ibis to be able to hold and launch a T2 Bouncer.

When you create dumb threads like these, are you aware of your own stupidity? Is there a moment when you pause and think "wow, maybe this isn't smart after all?"

Or do you have to rely on others to inform you when you've said something dumb? Cause this is one of those instances.

Long as you remove your hardpoints I got not problem with that.

Just cover your ships with sumo-suits and fight.

I would guess op is mad because of the Ai changes and missile changes and thinks this would be a better fix? (not sure though)

So let me extend your idea...

1. Remove drones from ships without drone bonus
2. Remove turrets from missile boats.
3. Remove turrets / launchers from drone boats and only give them utility high slots.
4. Remove missile hardpoints from turret ships.
5. Last but not least... remove the ability to fit stuff like neutralizers, remote reps and cap transfers into slots that are meant for turrets/launchers.

hmmm.... No, not really...

I would define it as any ship that currently has a drone bay.
