Edit: For those asking about closing this thread or moving it; it has been placed here by the CCP Community manager who has requested that it be kept open. It is neither my place nor inclination to go against his decision in this matter. If you wish to raise that, then the correct method is to raise a petition using the Other -> Community category.

While this thread has not been active for some days I feel that I must still post my condolences.

As someone who has seen far too much death in this world while in Afghanistan, I always feel immense sympathy for the families of those killed in today's conflicts. My condolences and respect to the family of this fallen individual. I hope that they're able to find peace one day.

I was astounded by how this incident affected and saddened me.

I knew Vile Rat, not. But even as a 3 month player 2 years ago, he got my first CSM vote, and the next year's vote as well.
