[Solved] No combat sound on one PC, works on another.

Hello.

On my desktop machine I get zero combat sounds, no matter the zoom level. Music is ok, some other effects seem normal, but its hard to tell what I'm missing since I've been gone a while.

My laptop does the sounds no worries at all.

I've an asus xonar dx card, if that helps anyhting.

Google failed me on this one, are there any suggestions? Compatibility mode for XP SP3 didnt work either :(

OK...so I was being stupid. Spotted 'world sounds' volume was down to nil; didn't realise that included sound effects (what with there beinga sounds effects bar too :P )

Anyway, crank that up and job done.
