Stargate in Balle moved?

Quick question. I did a quick search and didnt see anything on this topic.

I was travelling through Balle today, and noticed the Aufay stargate was 23.4AU from where its been. Is this documented anywhere?

Nope.

Its a feature introduced back when warptozero did not exists and we all had to use bookmarks to avoid MWDing the ladt 15k to the gate. CCP resolved the problem by moving gates every few days. Unfortunately at the time this just caused crippling lag as everybody re copied bookmarks for the new gate position. This forced CCP into introducing warp to zero.

Meanwhile they still move gates occasionaly so mouth breathers who dont know this get confused and post dumb threads on the forum.

First time I've seen a undocumented gate move in almost 5 years of playing. I guess I need to get out more often.Roll

It's kinda, but not really, sexual in Danish too.
It basically means buttcheek in Danish, and I think it does in Swedish too.

Are you sure it has actually been moved? What do you have that tells you it was elsewhere at one point?

His bot-script coordinates is no longer correct. That is how he noticed the gate moved.

The most recent (documented) gate move was the Ashab gate in Amarr... repositioned because too many ships would bounce endlessly off the EFA station structure trying to warp there, being that is the main exit of that system. This happened earlier this year, only a few patches ago.

The Aufay gate was next to (1M or so km) the systems only station. Yesterday it was 23.4AU away from said station. Today it is back to where it always was.
