In order to respect CCP - I will not be quoting, copy and pasting any actual conversations with CCP.

However in short - The CSM is constantly under review, and this situation and other complaints have been noted, however this does not guarantee any future changes.

So for the moment

Mittani 1 - Eve Players 0

So we shall see what happens next I guess. I hope CCP takes this very seriously going forward as this did get much support from many players and I would personally like to thank you guys for that support.
Given there has been unrest about the current CSM by many other players, CCP must do something.
I personally not sure if i am happy playing a game where corruption and vote rigging is rife.
The current voting system is open to abuse and is being abused. Having 2000+ and 3000+ alts of YOUR OWN people voting for you guarantees your in the CSM. This is the normal world is called vote rigging. Also a CSM that feels they only represent their own voters (their alliance) and not the entire playerbase is a problem, and this is not what CSM was about.

My personal opinion is how can CCP have someone has chair, that leads an alliance wheres its very essence is about corruption, misery to others, scamming new players (when we need to keep new players), making people in.out of game miserable, and takes the game so seriously, they DDOS other sites, is for the 'greater good' is beyond me and infact very bad for eve.

Bottom line from me guys

**** DO NOT TRUST ANY CSM MEMBER IN GAME AT ALL - EVER. IN FACT THEY ARE MORE LIKELY TO ABUSE THAT CSM REPRESENTATION TO GAIN TRUST IN TERMS OF SCAMMING ETC ****

Could I trust them out of game and be trusted to represent on the CSM, if they screw over people in game? Never..

Tts seems lately goons and in particular The Mittani are stirring up lots of problems with eve.
Firstly he ordered the killing of ice miners

This is just recent, but there is the whole concept of what The Mittani and Goons represent. The represent everything that is wrong and bad about eve, scourning misery amongst eve players, the whole concept of scamming. Goonswarm can simply not be trusted in anyway and neither can its leadership, which in turn is the Chair of The CSM.

Now whether you believe scamming is part of the game or not, its actually bad for the game and to be honest the future of the game, how can you expect new players to want to enjoy the game and stay in the game when you have the biggest noob recruitment alliance, scamming them as soon as they enter the game? No wonder people leave.

Many people in eve do not know how goons work as a fundamental scamming alliance, and when people deal with someone like The Mittani who is supposed to represent the players as a whole, believe that he would be trustworthy, because he holds this position. Of course they would.. But The Mittani is using this to his own and his alliances advantage.


Its total abuse of his CSM position, where people will trust him and he is abusing that. Its not on nor acceptable. CSM members are seen as people that hold some trust and this should not be allowed by any CSM member when they are in post. Mittani is abusing his power and is not fit to hold this post...

Even Vile Rat should be removed too as he also represents what goons are..

You may ask, well he plays the game too, why cant he scam.?
Well he can, even though I personally hate scammers, eve allows it. The issue isnt about scamming as such, its about a person who is supposed to be held in high regard by the players, and abusing this to scam people. However his other actions suchs as attacking ice miners etc is not in the best interested of the game either. I quote the CSM Scope.

This requires active engagement with the player community to master EVE issue awareness, understanding, and evaluation in the context of the “greatest good for the greater player base”. It is important to keep in mind that the CSM will not have formal powers within CCP, they will have a voice inside CCP.


Some people stated and The Mittani also stated that he represents HIS constituents. This is Goons not the the playerbase! Now some are saying well only 1700 of those votes he got was from Goons the rest wasnt.

Seriously? Do you expect us to believe that the rest (or most of) where not from Goon alts or second/third accounts alts?

However the scope clearly states there should be active engagement with the 'PlayerBase' and also act “greatest good for the greater player base” this clearly is not the case, how can the biggest alliance which The Mittani Leads, which actively involves itself in scamming, and things like the miner slaughter si 'for the greater good of the player base' Its not! at all!

The issue isnt wth the scamming or attacking whatever, its about players seeing these people as people they can trust! But they use this position of trust to abuse the game, such as scamming.
If a person contacts a CSM about anything in game, most players would expect to be treat with honesty.

Then they get scammed, how can that be good for the game, and what the CSM represents? Seriously

Its plain downright corruption.

If this wish to do what they do, fine, but the should not be in a position that represents players TRUST, they should step down!

Scamming and Ganking are allowed. If you trust someone because of a Title you should stop doing that immediately.

Being an A$$hole is not grounds for removal from office, just ask any elected official anywhere at anytime. If you do not like him then ether find a real crime that is against the rules and provide evidence or wait till his term expires and vote him out next term.

Here's the thing. scamming is 100% A-OK in the world of EVE. In fact, it is just as legitimate a source of income as missioning or market gaming, only its about 10x as fun if you know what you're doing. It isn't my style, but your complaining about it is hilariously naive.
