Broken - too far from FW plex to get LP credit, but close enough to count down the timer?

I'm pretty new to the forums, so tell me if I should be posting this somewhere else for a proper CCP response,
but I've twice counted down a FW plex timer to zero only to be told that I was "too far" to get credit.

When I submitted a ticket i was told "this is currently bugged, we're working on it;" and then told
"you were 10,275m away from the plex so too far to get LP credit."

I was the only pilot in system....how can I be "too far" to get credit but still close enough
to count the timer down to zero?

There must have been someone else in the plex that you didn't notice even though there was no one else in local. The logs show nothing.

Nope, this is a "known bug" mate. Have had it several times myself - even when I am the only person in local.

Yeah, I was commenting on the CCP response to it. I've had this as well and was told by a GM that surely there must have been someone else in the plex that I didn't notice, despite nobody else being in local with me.

Pretty much that. I generally do 7500m for a small, 15k for a medium, 25k for a major. Depending on your speed (i'll assume speed tanking, because :FW:), you might need to orbit closer to stay in range.

With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.

known bug. funny thing, I never got it when I was running caldari plexes. I only got it when running Gallente plexes. Submitted bug about 2 months ago

Use these orbit paths
minors - set orbit to 8,000
Mediums - 18,000
Majors - 28,000

Engine is on fire, all the tires are slashed, radio only plays Creed at max volume (button is missing), kids are wailing in the backseat because of the shady guy with a hunting knife, the wife is bitching in the passenger seat and the freight train on whose tracks you are stuck shows no signs of stopping ..... and you are complaining about a coffee stain on the dashboard ..... way to focus on the important stuff!

You made your alt to make virtually free ISK at zero risk, the least you could do is learn how/what/where.

PS: Don't know who Creed is, just came up when I Googled "worst band in the world".

I don't know why you are complaining, OP, you are in a gunless stabbed Merlin, on an alt. You might miss the odd payyout but the risks you are taking are close to zero. Just like my care factor.
