I'm not much of a car nut but this web based show is fifteen types of ace:

its an aus youtube show... NZ has more "jdm" than aus could ever hope for only outdone by japan lol

I think it's awesome to manly-up a very unmanly car like a Miata. I mean who the hell figured out you can fit a V8 engine in a Miata??? I guarantee you it was a redneck that was very drunk Cool

Not much for these types of programs, but they did feature cameos from some of my favorite autos, so... plaswan.

we had a guy in nz throw in a 302 v8 with a manual box.. rumour has it.. its darth vaders :P
and some dude state side put a 2jz turbo in his and another I believe did a v12 version

I'm totally ignorant on why but a guess would tell me that as Australia has/had a domestic car market those makes get a bit of attention.

totally affordable performance cars ( s15's, r33/34 skylines/evo's and similar ) and or jap vip cars.
