Well, seems to me you gots a couple issues. First of which could be fixed by buying another PC and placing it right next to your PC. That way you can both do your own thing.. and be together. Second, as I found out with my wife, I need to make sure she get's her time with me. Maybe that means just goofing around the yard, or watching her shows, or working on her to-do list. I make sure that she gets her attention daily and its 100%.

Now, the caveat to that is we are both in our 40s, and so, she isn't needy either. If you have a needy GF/Wife.. well, best thing for that is a psychologist and a lot of patience.

This. I don't really have the time to "spend time with my wife", because I work and work out a lot and I'm rarely home before 9pm, but placing our PCs next to each other is teh awesomness. She's on FB or Lineage 2 (she's a buffer anyway, so she doesn't have to pay attention), I'm running a mission on a drake (so I don't have to pay attention at all) and we have the time to talk :). I get my game time, she gets 99% of my attention and I get the little hearts in her strange lady callendar on her phone if you know what I mean ;).

The solution is to have enough computers, laptops, ipads, iphone etc. in the house so you have your own time for EVE.
Works well in here even with 3 children.

It's proof of how good the EvE community is when stuff get serious ;)

CCP Greyscale: As to starbases, we agree it's pretty terrible, but we don't want to delay the entire release just for this one factor.
