Why are there so many lights on in my spaceship when i'm the only inhabitant ? Why can i control everything in the ship but i can't turn the lights off ?

why is "K22" written on some Caldari stations, on the inside ship hangar?

Just wondering if there were a lore reason or whatever :)

All the noises and images a pod pilot sees are fed to him/her via a collection of camera drones and sensors on or surrounding the vessel. Drones feed the pilot a live video feed for obvious reasons, as for the sounds, they are generated entirely by the ships on-board computer systems.

This is an excerpt from one of the many stories, scientific articles and news pieces that help to enrich EVE.

"As you know there is no sound in space, but when we were developing the capsules we found that people wanted to use as many of their senses as possible, thus we added the sound. By letting a computer create three dimensional sound we also add to the awareness you have while in battles, for instance."

Depending on the size of ship you are in, it is more than likely that you do indeed have a crew on-board. It is a common misconception that all capsuleer ships in EVE are manned only by the Pod pilot.

Why does the sound on Bink files go all chipmunk on me when I try and play them through the bigassed TV in CQ?

I reckon it's the bink32.dll version myself, they all play fine in the bink player and on the TV in GTA4
