ok i am in a corporation at the moment and the guy that invited me is very helpful and seems decent enough while chatting, he is in the usa and am guessing most of the other corp peeps are by the times they go online. ie in the middle of the night uk time. Now myself been from the uk this may well become a problem, as am not able to stay up every night playing till 4am uk time it'll kill me lol so me question is are there any Corps that are playing UK times or have a uk member base.

thanks

Hello Mr Palmer Sotken,

There are indeed hundreds of UK-based corporations; each one may have different areas of specialization and requirements towards their members. You are welcome to check the corporation recruitment page on EVElopedia: it describes how to use the in-game tools to find a suitable corporation. You can search by time zone, corporation activities, area of operations, language, etc. and I suggest you give it a go. Smile

they may not say "uk" but hundreds of corps are in "EU" time.

the basic timezones in eve

NA ( north american time)
EU ( europe)
AU ( australia)

yes there are large time differences or all, but those are the basics.

Specific time zones become less of a problem later in the game if you decide you want to fly with the larger corporations and alliances. These large groups need round the clock coverage in their space to retain ownership.

That being said, in the early stages find a group of guys that fly when you do, and have fun! That is the main idea here isnt it?

Not every corporation is equal. So you need to search around a bit and find folks with similar goals in game and personalities you can get along with.

Anyways Good Luck to you, and I hope you come to love this game as I have.

Hello there.

A while back i made a post which contained a lot of the basic information on how to find a corp, and several people added in even more advice. You might be able to find some tips in there,if you do decide to leave your current corp.

If you want to stay in your current corp tho you can ask your CEO if he would mind you recruiting in your timezone. Most recruiters love having someone who can cover the timezones they cant be on so its a pretty good chanse he will be willing to give you a try Smile

Good luck Big smile

If you leave your current corp be sure to steal everything not nailed down on your way out!
