Hello there!

I am new to Wormholes, and new to scanning in general. I was wondering at what point of my skills can I solo run class 1 wormholes. I want to get t2 drones and a t2 cloaking device and an arbitrator first, then I will make my way into a pilgrim, which I will go into low sec with to do radar/mag sites. After This I would like to go into energy weapons. At what point into my skill progression can I go into class 1 wormholes and do the sites? At what point can I do them quickly?

Thanks,
Cipio Hakoke

EDIT: Scanning skills are already decent lvl 4s for all.

Drones don't work so well solo against sleepers you will want a turret or missile based ship really do do sleeper sites.

Also of note, the radar/mag sites in WH space are more difficult than the anoms. A reverse of the Hi/Lo sec trends for such things. If you can't clear an anom, you probably cannot do the speciality sites.

ah alright do you guys suggest flying something like an abaddon or apocalypse into c1 then? Which ship is like the beginning entry to the c1 as far as size needed? Do I need a battleship/battlecruiser or can I do it with a cruiser.

Battleships are too large for c1's, but any tech 2 cruiser or tech 1 battlecruiser will do just fine. Some assault frigates work as well if you have good skills. Faction cruisers are also very good at it, but their price/power ratio is not awfully good.

Takes about 3 weeks of training into a drake to be able to handle C1's. More training obviously for you to run them nice and efficiently.

I do not want to train for a drake as my focus is amarr, It does not bother me if it takes longer to train amarr to solo c1, and eventually I may cross train for the nightmare. This may be a good longterm goal but currently these are not my plans. Thanks all for the feedback, If a harbringer will do fine then it sounds good to me.

A dual medium armor repper Zealot can handle all the way up through C2s (and be used in C3s with other pilots). It's a little slower than a Drake I think, but not horribly so. You will need another ship to salvage. The Harbinger can also be used (for C1s) with a dual rep set up and 5 drones to deal with frigates, you just have to keep an eye on them so they don't get killed.

Of note on the amarr side is further training to a legion will take you to C3's. A Legion can solo all of the C3 anoms without much difficulty. Radars and mags would be tough. Then again the hardest mag can put a world of hurt on 2 tengu's as well.

Thank you very much for your feedback. I will be honest I was quite skeptical of the legion due to all the forums I have read saying "legion is worst t3, go loki or tengu" But with your post I am regaining faith back into the legion. I love the flexibility it brings (or at least from what I have read it brings) with being able to swap out the subsystems. I read somewhere that when you die in a t3 cruiser, you lose a rank in all the subsystems for that particular t3, Is this true?

Thanks all for helping me out a lot!

I have a corp mate (and good RL friend who flies a legion). So I've seen him use it. Honestly up to C3 he can give me a run for my money speed wise. The Tengu has the range to start hitting sooner. But the lasers just melt stuff so fast.

And he uses so much less ammo. I buy scourge missiles in batches of like 500,000.
