Greetings Space Friends,

Being the disgusting highsec piece of shite that I am, I spend most of my time in Sinq Liason. Dodixie is my primary trade hub but I spend my time between missions, mining, trading and watching space p()rn.

Just 3 jumps away from Dodixie is the Lowsec system Decon. My question is:

Why do people sell capital ships in far away systems such as Carrou and Olettiers, when they could build/sell just a few jumps away?

Is Decon too far away from other Lowsec systems or something?
I've done some really stupid shit in this game.

My guess would be that selling the ships on the fringe of Null in further away lowsec systems would be more attractive.

It is far easier to jump from there to a null outpost than it might be from the closest lowsec system to the trade hub, what might only take a single jump from the far away system may be 2 from the closer one.

Like he said, your target market for capitals doesn't hang around trade hubs.

It's a lot easier to build in systems of the middle of nowhere. Lowsec islands often have more people looking to shoot you.

And carrou is only 4 jumps if i recall right from jita wich is nice if your doing mass production of capital ships and one can easily avoid local pirates as it's rather quiet. You'll find the 'negative ten' alliance there usually and at times some noob wannabe pirates from arkham innovations Blink .

We are all born ignorant, but one must work hard to remain stupid.
