In the event of Global Thermonuclear War... why are the EVE servers located in London? Doubtful they survive a nuclear cataclysm, are there backups?

Further Questions:
+ I have satellite internet available in my area, will it keep tickin'?
+ What can I do to protect my EVE account following the apocalypse?
+ Would there be a SP reimbursement for survivors on a new server?

Because everyone needs to update the skill queue while riding out Armageddon in their bomb shelters.

But I'm sure they are hardened ...or I hope so. You know, hardened to protect from an air burst/EMP or CME/solar flare. Not too hard to do that.

I'm in it for the money

I hope the Eve Forum is the only record left of humanity after the nuclear apocalypse. The survivors will truly envy the dead.

Just remember to put a long skill in your queue before the bombs drop, kinda like patch day.

Hi, my name is Riot Girl. I have a vast knowledge and understanding of post-nuclear/apocalypse scenarios, having played such games as Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas. If you have any questions, I can draw on my experiences in playing these games to aid your survival and the well being of your EvE online account in the event of the outbreak of a thermonuclear catastrophe.

Lol in the event of a Nuclear Armageddon, i doubt that many people will be checking EVE. Assuming that the entire world is carpet bombed.

do you even thing that CCP has the capability or resources of protecting their system of a Nuclear fallout or even a emp discharge? and if such thing occurs this live leeching game will stop since currency will mean nothing before personal survival.

In the event of Global Thermonuclear War, the EVE Server is going to be fine, since it will be the one starting the war.

Tom you really should ask yourself if you have dug your shelter deep enough, can you see the light of day? Then you're probably not far enough underground, keep digging.
