what t2 class for null exploration?

Just what the topic says: I'm developing a plan to get into a ship for npc nullsec exploration sites - mainly emphasizing looting (radar and mag) sites. Is it possible to clear them in an assault frig? Or is a HAC required to get the necessary dps? Also, does the trend in lowsec exploration of the looting sites being about 1 ship class easier than the combat sites still hold true in null? Thanks for all constructive replies.

IIRC there are Radar sites in null with Statis Towers, making AFs a very very bad idea (sadly)
