Ironically you'll still not reach the EFT number even if the target is not moving (like a POS).

I like how you can fire missiles at a target that is more than the theoretical maximum range and still hit them if they are burning towards you.

Normally I just guessed and figured out when my drake couldn't hit things past 75 KM

I haven't flown a drake in a couple months. I just don't like the ship too much. Too slow to be fun

What really ruined eve for me was when they made my probes run about everywhere themselves instead of allowing me to carefully drop them off at each celestial with a tousle and a packed lunch. This really tested with my matronly instincts!

Who knows where my little dears will wander off to if left unattended! *sob*

If we add 1% change of random error to presented calculation Eve becomes hard again because you have to figure out when range stops showing 52km and changes to 743km... and if you want even greater challenge - try to explain the reasoning behind increased distance to your corp mates and shoot one as a live test subject to prove your point.
