Hours for PLEX, character transfer?

If I were to activate hours for PLEX, would I be able to initiate a character transfer and not receive the penalties of not actually activating a PLEX, but rather consuming two to change a character to another account, or will doing this disable the hours for PLEX option for that account?

Hello Entity,

If I'm not mistaken the account must be active during the transfer time (10 hours) in order for a full transfer to happen. The Hours for PLEX only allows for 4 hours of additional time. If you do not PLEX the account at that time the Hours for PLEX will become unavailable to you and if you wanted to PLEX the account you would have to file a petition in order to get the Hours for PLEX time added.

Or file a petition to CCP and hope one of the GMs is nice enough to grand you 1 free day so you can contract the character over.

No garantuee on this one though.

I'll probably just stick to the PLEX, could use the training time to fix a few things anyway. Either way, thanks for the help everyone.

IM not sure if you are all 100% correct.

My corp mate transferred a character the other week using hours for plex and it arrived at the other end fine.

Both accounts sending and receiving must be active(have game time on them) in order for this to work. Which means that you need a full 10 hours at least on the account (if not more to be safe) in order to start and complete a transfer. As stated before Hours for PLEX doesn't give you enough time to do that.
