winter ship balancing would be good place for scan range ship balancing - specialized t2 (recon? or new type of ship) could have scan range increased from current 14.413 au to... let's say 60 au, for some systems this would give whole coverage. Also directional scann should have targeting circle displayed on screen depending on chosen angle - now we really don't know what 'area' is covered for 5, 15, 30 angle...
