Silliness.

Unfortunately, you are cluttering up my notification box, and as none of this seems to be relevant to the investment I've made...I'm going to ask you stop threadjacking with silly things. C&P is that way.

I'm sure the OP would agree this is getting fairly off-topic.

Unless you happen to have a good freighter to gank to increase profits....

sry, but nope

Questions about the OP`s trustworthyness and honesty in a Bond request are hardly off-topic.

At this point you are derailing the thread and stubbornly repeating the same thing over and over. As much as I enjoy a devil's advocate, it has started to cross into trolling.

If you could drop this discussion in at least this thread. The bond is already in progress and your nay saying serves no purpose.

Thanks What?

I guess I should explain my point of view a bit more clearly. I only respect anything that is "personal".

If someone targeted specifically me with a contract, I would have told them flat out that I can't haul that much value, or would have hauled(assuming it was safe) it then warned them no to set the collat so low.

When someone places something in "public trust", they are 100% responsible for themselves.

I see no different between someone setting the collat too low or someone missing a zero and selling to my buy order really cheap.

BTW, I have actually had someone sell something well under price. They quickly emailed me in-game and I did return *most* of the items. I did keep just a few to cover my brokers fee and an extra 5mil for my time.. talking about over 100m of items.

As for the contract, I actually did contact the corp CEO and let him know that I would not haul 2.5b of items and I was willing to work out a long-term investment for the approximate sell value minus the collat that I paid. It has been about a month and he has not responded. My generosity doesn't last forever.

As for calling it a "scam". To me, a scam involves deceiving people by claiming one thing and doing another. There is no deception nor claims being made if I pop a public courier contract. I do agree it is "taking advantage" of a situation, but isn't that what the market is all about?

edit: Forgot to add. To me the "open market" is any offer that is publicly accessible.

I appreciate you taking the time to answer. Fair point re the definition of a scam, I would actually reconsider my position on that, as scamming contracts isn't the right term. Thanks for your insights. Sorry for adding to the derailment :)

As a side note, still invested. Would invest again for pure entertainment value.

Or to fund a freighter gank for profit, or contract-games... Hmm, now that might be a bond worth looking into.

Barakach, we need to talk. Twisted

And then i'd also have to agree here , bringing this up is allways a good thing and i'd hardly call it hijacking a thread , well to the point where you KEEP going on about iit while no one replies because they are bored from the same info given a thousand times.Still , i'd say good of you to bring this up , even if it might make no difference to current and some future investors.

However how one feels about the given info is another thing. Some might get turned off from investing and others wouldn't give a crap about it as they see it as a totally different subject. You shared the info now let others judge how they feel about the trust issue regarding it.

Emphasis added by me....

He was talking about a hypothetical scenario. One that becomes more and more possible, with each response you make!

2B @ 10% with 7:3 split, with the 3 going to charity fund.

CorInaXeraL was repaid 2.14b
60m sent to Vahrokh's Emergencies Relief Trust

Waiting for responses.

I normally pay out more when I do well, but I've been busy playing other games and did not make a whole lot this month.
