New pirate faction hulls

I love the visual part of EVE, I remember finding out that there where pirate faction ships. They looked fastly different and you couldn't even trade them on the open market!
(Nowadays, off course, you can trade them on the open market; that's not the point of this post).

It always bothered me that not all pirate faction ships have their own hull design, I mean, why are all the Guristas' hulls, for example, simply retextured Caldari hulls?
Wouldn't it be way more cool if all those pirate faction ships had custom hull designs?

Cruor (Blood Raiders)
Worm (Guristas Pirates) Retextured Merlin Sad
Succubus (Sansha's Nation)
Daredevil (Serpentis Corporation)

Cruisers
Cynabal (Angel Cartel)

CCP, please designing the six missing hulls, and give those ships a face to show their personality.
(Yes, I know, some of the textures are quite nice. But looking at some of the redesigned models of late, I'm sure a redesigned Bhaalgorn for example would look badass in overdrive).

Oh oh oh, it's the other way around when it comes to the Rattlesnake. It's the Scorpion that's retextured. The Rattlesnake hull is "rumored" to be a Guristas design.Lol

It wouldn't be to good if you completely retextured the Guristas ships since some of them are supposed to be stolen and modified Caldari designs (lore wise and i like the lore), but maybe you could make the modification more noteworthy.

Though I do agree it would be awesome with more original hulls and since CCP is on a design rampage with the new destroyers coming out and everything, someone from design might have a side project.

We wouldn't get it until earliest next year if someone have it on their backlog so don't get your hopes up.

is that what you meant? They redesigned the bombers to completely new hulls, and still you can spot their ancestry. Maybe they could do something like that to the Guristas ships as well.

Anyhow, I'm playing this game long enough not to get my hopes up about any changes from CCP. However, I still think it is worth it to ask for new pirate faction hulls.

I think they need more distinct variations. Not a complete hull change, but more of a 'modified' look. When I see faction ships I see the T1 ship with a different paint job and bonuses

Yes, making the Guristas ships in the same spirit as the bombers, so you can see it's originally the same ship but extensively modified was what i meant. It's technically new hulls but still just a derivation of an other one. Don't know where i got the "retextured" from...

And i agree with you, if you never ask you will never get an answer.
