Blueprint calculator question

On website http://zofu.no-ip.de/bpo there are grids to show different levels of ME research such as 2/43/383/714.

Is there any benefit to getting an ME between two listed ME levels such as 200, in the above case? I'm guessing not but just wanted to check...

I believe each one shows you when the next material would be 0 waste. There are probably reasons to stop in between, but those are generally the places you'd stop.

With the increase in shiptoasting, the Report timer needs to be shortened.

Thanks. Makes perfect sense.

It never fails to amaze me how obvious some answers should have been - after somebody else points them out.

TIP: You can always enter the exact level you want to check into Zofu's calculator.

Also, there are some ML levels where there are no change in materials, because the waste is still >0.5 unit.
Example: Researching a Charon, there is no change from ML 9 to ML 18, but it does change at ML 19.

Units of waste by material:
ME 0: 1 1 10 5
ME 1: 1 1 5 2
ME 2: 0 0 3 2
ME 3: 0 0 2 1
ME 6: 0 0 1 1
ME 9: 0 0 1 0
ME 19: 0 0 0 0
