ok im a bit confused

last night i was playing and before logging off like an ever enterprising eve online player i decided to qeue as much skills as i could because i may not get to play a couple days ( smart idea i thought )

anyway i qeued up a bunch of smaller timeframe skills with total time about 20 hours couldnt find anything i need but i have this 9 day skill i really need so i thought well ill get a chunk of that out of the way right

log on to eve gate today and it says my training qeue is inactive WTF!!!!

so does the EVE Gate forums not update frequently or am i currently not training any skills

my problem is im out of town on a comp that couldnt run eve if it were 8 bit let alnoe these forums im worried im wasting all this time when i could be training

anyway thanks for any help

did you hit apply or just close window after dragging the skills to the queue?

This happens to me quite often before, but usually only lost an hour or so. I hit apply like 10 times before i switch out of skill selection screen religiously.

Isn't there a warning message if you try to close the skill window without clicking "apply" these days?

I tend to reopen the skill queue after it's closed - just to check. And later check the queue in EveMon to make sure it's alright. And set a reminder on my cell-phone for the time when there is going to be about 23 hours left. And still there were a few times when I nearly missed it. Once I set a reminder for the wrong date and accidentally noticed the skill queue coming to an end when I was going to bed and decided to launch EveMon for no reason...

So far I've lost about 20 minutes on forgetting about the skills: when I was a new player and there was no skill queue - a skill finished while I had been having dinner. And the humiliating thing about this was that I'd just trained Eidetic Memory IV (the Learning Skill that used to improve Memory) when I forgot to start a new skill training...
Also lost about 8 freaking hours because of some terrible patch (when it was unexpected 30+ hours downtime - it was followed by 100K SP being given to every player).

Reset the warning for when u close the training Q box, "Apply changes". and leave it on.
