Just get used to the fact that as a logi pilot you are a second class citizen.

Yes you are a force multiplier but not a force.

But look on the bright side you do get on the killmail when you dieSmile

Not true.
Logi Pilots get high rewards in our fleets as they have high responsibility and are not second class citizens.
Take ecm drones with you...sometimes helps if you are targetet - as well it supports the fleet and you get on some mails.
I fly guardian myself a lot and hop in on 1/3 of the kills. Sometimes other things are more important than the killmail. Your services will be acknowledged by the fleets you are participating.

You want the damage you repaired to show up as negative damage on your fleet members' losses when you fail to save them? P

True KM whoring Logi's have a single civilian autocannon to get on mails, or use drones.

Bolded the important part, while i fly logi ALOT and have missed out on hundreds of KM's. I have the satisfaction and gratitude from my corp/alliance mates. Why should i be added in on a KM.

We choose to fly logi, and know boarding that ship, unless you take combat drones, you will not likely get in on the KM. Its not your job to get in on the KM, its your job to keep them repped and juiced. If you want to killmail whore jump in a combat ship.

I feel a disturbance in the force, ISD is nearby

As said I get on KM´s when sending ecm drones on called targets. I agree that is not our job to be on km´s though.

As someone who has Logi 5 on 2 characters(And will have it on 2 more), you can be on the KMs when repairing someone gives you an aggression timer which prevents you from docking/jumping. Twisted

While we're at it, how come industrialists don't get KMs for the ships they produce?

Logi's on killmails would make me fly logi's more, it would be so much easier for alliances and corps to count logi participation.

Now, my alliance has a way of tracking logi pilot participation through the wallet and api pulls (give the logi pilot 1 isk at beginning of op and tabulate the results at the end of the month), but that's so tedious. With "Shooters" (guys who bring dps ships), all you have to do is glance at the fraking killboard, no special effort required.

well hopefully with the new crimewatch when aggression flags become transitive ....

Tedium and difficulty are not the same thing, if you don't realize this then STFU about game design.

there is no aggression in nullsec, so that wont help the 30 scimitars following behind drakefleet

No your right, there isn't any aggression in Null Sec, you can just aggress people and jump gates directly afterwards..... Roll

A simple solution would be for me, as a scimitar pilot; to get on any km generated for someone after I rep them. With no session changes of course.

I can sit 100km from an engagement in a Blackbird or any number of ships and target random people- as long as I activate a module on them I get on that km. I can drop a ****** bubble as a dictor pilot and get on tons of km's even after I die in a fire if I don't session change.

Yet, a hero logi who keeps the FC or target caller alive or an entire fleet as a logi team always leaves each engagement a little sour about not getting much, if any km's.

Killmails, and killboard activity; especially having a 'green' killboard and a high isk efficiency is the measure with which the few Elite pvp Alliances out there judge a person when recruiting. Help the logi pilot CCP. Help us be Elite.
