Can someone please explain this to me? (not a troll I really just don't understand)

So I am approaching a station in null. Coming in from a safe spot to the station.

No warp problems. Station acknowledges 'docking requested'.

I am in Min starter frig. Guy in a Tornado blows me up. Understood. Just didn't dock fast enough.

But my pod explodes as well. Same shot. One second my frig is in space, next second I am standing in my clone station.

No lag (at least on my end - running fiber with a system that has 24 gig RAM dual cards).

The kill mails indicate the kills happened a minute apart.

1 min 7 seconds ago ship killed. Pod killed 7 seconds ago.

How is this even possible when it was ONE shot that killed my ship and podded me?

I have no idea about the mail times, but I'm guess he split his guns and near instalocked your pod following the noob ship.

Tornado's and Hurricanes are both really good for this. What you do is throw a big pile of scripted sensor boosters in the mids and you can lock anything frigate sized up in give or take ~1sec.

As everyone else said, split guns and sensor boosters for the quick kills.

The times on the kill reports are just a bug. I recently killed a ship + pod 5 seconds apart, and the killmails showed a difference of 2 minutes.

He must've sensor boosted the hell out of his ship to do this. It's more common than you might imagine. All he has to do is hit F1 and click on your pod in the overview. The instant the lock goes on the guns fire.

Man I had same pissue once.
I've smoked my weed pipe and went to garden to smoke a cigarette. It was around 11.00 AM. I've smoked only one cigarette and then I've returned to my room. Now the best: It was 15.46 PM O_o.

It was 5 years ago but even till now i have no idea what happened that day. Lol
