Are CONCORD allowed in low and null sec?

I think it would be great if capsuleers could join CONCORD, providing they have a good standing with each of the four factions and a standing of 10 with CONCORD.

If there is no lore reason for CONCORD not being allowed in low/null, then these player controlled CONCORD ships should be able to roam these areas to hunt pirates.

Thoughts?

CONCORD, or more specifically the "Directive Enforcement Department" (CONCORD's Police Force) are seen out in 0.0 on a regular basis in missions for Pirate factions.

Backstory wise, there are DED Strike Teams that are specifically trained for, and operate in 0.0 exclusively, performing recon and attacks against Pirate elements across New Eden.

As for joining NPC corps, there was a feature in game a long time ago, (circa 2003) that allowed you to join an NPC corporation if you had exceptionally high standings. A few characters can be seen here and there with CONCORD, the Caldari Navy, and other such corporations in their corporate history.

If I remember correctly the feature was removed back in early 2004. Smile

Possibly player mishaps. CONCORD players trying to arrest people, players claiming they're secret agents.

But I defer to my seniors on this one P

They should bring it back, but let entire corporations join a unique Concord alliance. At least you'd be able to tell what is legit quickly.
