Equipment for null sec

Hello,
I want to join null sec corporation and I have some questions about required equipmnet.

Lets say I can fly any ship type possible (minmatar race) and can use every module . What ships and modules should I bring down to null? Should I bring it all at once, or only some and keep the rest in 0,4 system so some cyno pilot can pick it up later? And is it better to buy it all in null sec?

I want to avoid jumping back to high sec too often.

your question is too "common" ( i don't know proper word).

What will you do in null? PVE/PVP/Plexes?

For PVE your choice depends of NPC type of 0.0 you are going to.
For PVP: it depends of PVP type you will do. For small gangs this is Sabre/Rapier. For big fleet OPs: Tempest,Tornado,Scimitar,Rapier.

Usually when i'm first into this alliance/corp/part of 0.0 i get cyno char there and jump my carrier with 1-2 ships. Anything other is stored in low-sec on the way.

Shoud you bring stuff from empire or buy it there? It only depends of your greediness: you spend ISK or effort. Usually in 0.0 anything is more expensive than in empire (someone needs to bring it there). My principle: when i need something i check local prices. If it is something like 5-10% or 1-2 millions above empire prices i can simply buy it. If it is more expensive and popular (people really buy it) i can buy lot in empire, get it into 0.0 and start selling there.

Well I am interested in PVP. I wouldn't go down to null If I want to shoot NPCs. I can do that i high sec. What I was thinking of was Autocannon hurricane for standard small roams, Huginn for tackling and Munin for long range fleats. So should I change or add some ship?

Small roams in 0.0? Every time I was in 0.0 it was either "the blob" or nothing. Has this changed?

make a jumpclone and move him to null

train an alt, bring bp copies down for ships/charges/ammo.

Chances r if u lose 1 ship carrying anything valuable that null sec corp/alliance u joined will give you the boot cuz u made there killboard look ugly.

welcome to boresec. I stayed for 2 weeks. most boring 2 weeks ever in eve.

If you are looking to join an established nullsec alliance then they will give you a list of fleet concepts and fittings that they use however things like Interdictors, Interceptors, Logisticts and other kinds of support ships generally have use in every fleet.

First time I went I took a covops and scouted the area for a few days to see what routes were busy, as well as setup safe spots and undock bm's for the stations that were nearby.

Don't underestimate it, faction BS spawns in the belts can drop some tasty gear, also the sites are very lucrative if you have upgraded systems and the escalations can be worth mountains of isk.

For PvP look into Your alliances fleet doctrine. If they have none, bring a Hulk. Big smile

In earnest you will need ships (from highest to lowes priority) to

a) fly around cloaked and make shitloads of bookmarks, spy on non blues, scout, etc.
b) sustain your income (PvP will not pay the bills). May be Ratting, Exploration or Mining - your Choice.
c) haul stuff around (MWD + cloak), Check the market where you will move to BEFORE. Check who provides JF services and if they are trustworthy.
d) pew pew (for alliance fleet and personal taste). Do not believe ONE ship will do. Get several of the same.

If you are able to mine and produce, bring some BPCs, if not bring some extra ISK.

Get a jump clone in high sec (makes learning new skills much easier and cheaper)! Preferrably where you have some stuff stashed away.

DO NOT bring everything at once.

If you want PVP and not be involved in press F1 so you can kill this go to lowsec and join a corp there. Theres advantages of nullsec over low and hi but with all advantages come disadvantages. In lowsec at least youll get some good/great solo pvpers out there to fight also and be able to learn the flying and fighting tactics of the game in a smaller scale

If u want pvp in o.o join a roaming corp that bounce npc o.o every now and then
if you join sov holding alliance b preperd to sit and wait 2+ hours for fleet form up and then no garante of a fight also get used to pressing f1 and keeping quite on coms
You will b fighting for allince leader to get space ritch rember that when your primaryed
you be better off in losec for pvp tbh and fw if want keep sec stat

Don't forget your preferred flavour/s of Stealth Bomber --or actually, several-- plus full fittings and ammo for each.

Incredibly useful little ships, those. Twisted

As well:

Cloaky hauler, if you can fly one.

Proby ship, and skills to use it well.

BPCs for at least ammo, well-researched, and maybe even something that can mine whilst tanking belt or grav-site rats on occasion for materials for same. (Assuming your alli has a station you can build out of, I wouldn't bother building using POS-mods. Too much waste IIRC, plus you can sell off any excess. Just don't be a **** and gouge your mates, that's just low.)

In general, try to "pack light," so that if/when things go pear-shaped, you have a decent chance of getting your stuff out.

Ni.

Small roams in low-sec you say? Every time I was roaming in low-sec it was either "the blob" outnumbering me at least 4 to 1 or nothing. Has this changed?

There is a lot of room for 10-35 man roams in (sov) 0.0 and however you may want to call them, they are not comparable in terms of tactics and objectives to the large fleets of 150+.

In Null most of the alliance will have fleet doctrines published in corp bulletins and forums. Can never go wrong with bringing interceptors\fast tackle, they are always welcome, logi is also always needed. Other than that bombers are good to have and a BC for smaller roams and your favorite cruiser. Unless you going to CFC.. then bring lots of drakes Twisted
Also you better take some PVE ships otherwise you going to be bored as hell.
