He does have a point, two actually. If you lower the amount of tickets to say 3000 you still make 10b, tickets will sell faster and you will receive less hate.

What makes you think they are so stupid that they would essentially sell an Etana for only a few bil in profit when they could straight up sell one for 30bil?

It would be one thing if this was just some isk lottery. In that case I would agree with you. But this isn't.

Are people here always this dense?

I get that these ships are worth what people will pay for them. Granted.. The issues falls with the fact that you have clearly stated that you value the ship at 50 Bil (Per the Payout) and that you are pocketing 30 Bil... That's the issue I have... I get you guys are the only people with the ships right now. But the fact of the matter remains is that at some point you will sell these ships. Weather it is you, someone who steals them from your corp or what have you, Eve will find a way. So why should anyone give you 30 Bil for a ship that you have stated is not worth it, and is only going to go down in value as you loose control of them all?

Also no matter how you flip it you have basically no Credit without a third party.. There is no way to spin out of it..

Tbh the way you have presented this and your attitude towards it, this we have these ships you don't so we want silly high prices idea makes me wholeheartely believe this is a scam. Because as you said you have the ships no matter what anyone does. So who's to say you don't rip someone off for one or two in lotteries then fake sell them to alts who fake lottery them again? I mean it seems like a good way to max out your profit but why should anyone think you are legit?

If a CCP representitive could please shed light on the use of this Forum to conduct Lotteries? Should CCP allow this as part of the Forum Rules, it will clearly be safe for people to participate.

Mainly because they are not giving us 30bil, they are buying a ticket for a lottery. I did not think we had to explain those concept.

When all is said and done by your own admission you will be getting 30 Bil profit for the ship sense you deem the cash payout to be 50 Bil?

Seems pretty much like you get the ship or 50 Bil and we get the other 30 Bil?

Thank you for making the expert comment on my state of intelligence.

However, I don't quite see anything regarding Lotteries being allowed or disallowed on the "Sell Orders" Forum. That is why I suggested a CCP representitive comment on the validity and "safety" of participating in the Lottery.

Gnaw - I meant no disrespect to your Lottery. I merely tried sharing some constructive comments. Good luck with the Lottery, and rest assured I will likely be participating in it myself.

Making a profit off a Lottery is afterall the whole idea behind a Lottery. Nobody is putting a gun to anyone's head forcing them to participate.

Again to reiterate, the API pulls will be done at the top and bottom of the hour. Or, once every 30 mins. You will not see your tickets until then.

Also, feel free to mail me in game rather than posting here. It will be quicker and easier that way.
