Epic arc agent in Obe ... not an agent??

Hi, was thinking in running the guristas epic arc so i went to Obe system, where the caldari agent is...warp to the beacon, saw the agent, but the talk to agent button is not available...saying "this is not an agent"...wtf?

One of the three starter agents for the guristas 'Smash and Grab'pirate arc is in space in Obe. The agent is Atma Aulato who works with the Caldari corp, Ytiri. She's sitting in her Falcon at a location called 'Counter Intelligence Center'.

IDK what happened to you, but Aulato is most certainly there and offering the mission ... I was there earlier today.

Is it possible that you selected the beacon, or some LCS / LCO, rather than the agent? Otehrwise I can only sugegst tryign again and if that fails, logging off and on and trying again ... then petition or bug report.

p.s. I am heading back there shortly, after visiting Orvolle, so will check her out again and report back.

Yeah please do that...cause i saw the agent in falcon...and when selected the icon to talk to agent it said "this is not an agent"

I did check this out and, needless to say, the agent is there and is working fine. I gather that OP is an alt for some local wannabes looking to draw well meaning folk into a trap of some sort. Oh well, it takes all sorts.

Can't complain tho. I needed to go there, and the system was very good for selling our pirate-arc-completion-kits. Out of stock there already, and having trouble keeping up with demand. Thanks, I like that Big smile

I know this is an oldish thread, but I figure it makes sense rather than start a new one.

When you see an agent in space and you click on them and start conversation is greyed out, and you click on the button and it says "Not an Agent" it means that you are too far away. Get closer than 100km to the agent and it should work fine. From some vectors warping to even 70km off can land you over 120km from the falcon. If you get that error message and you are close enough to the agent petition it.

I do not recommend warping from any gate vectors as that is the most likely place from people to put cans.

Thanks Valentina. Good info there.

I usually visit them at around 30km, cloaked if lowsec / nullsec, so I guess their range is something >30km.
