Every time i try to undock from a station, my game screen turns mainly black apart from the chat window and overview,

the game freezes itself in this fashion and the only way i can fix this is to by force shutting off the client and then restart it, then i can start playing again,

ive tried setting the in game settings to Low, on all of them and disable most extra settings but i just cant seem to find whats causing it,

Cry

i really looked forward to coming back to play EvE again but if im gona have to restart the client after each time i undock from a base thats really gona be a turnoff to play :(

anyone able or know a possible reason? or is it just my computer which is turning into scrap metal..?

Start eve with the logserver running and see if something shows up. If you want anyone to look at it, give him the logserver file and dxdiag output. Your pc does meet minimum requirements right?

it has run eve in the past, without this problem so id belive it does handle its minimun, but that was over a year ago, so its possible its atm fallen out of date,

and so, for a total noob on computers, how/where do i find the loginserver file, and dxdiag, sorry for being a noob >.<

Also make a bug report with the info and write the number in the thread in case a CCP dev is investigating the issue :)

For more info on bug reports: https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=6354&find=unread and also read the wiki article linked in there (and the part about the ig bug reporter tool at the bottom of that ).
