Yeah, the pillbox emplacement on top of the hull ruins the aesthetics for me. I'd also like to see the rear of the hull split to provide two engine nacelles, though just replacing the pillbox with something less prominent like a simple conning tower to one side would be just fine. It just looks too blocky to me.

I think it looks pretty good, but it is missing some sort of trailing element. Nothing major is needed, but a trailing antenna, or a small 'fin' or some such on the rear to balance it. Right now it looks like a Mk82 Snake-eye ******** (sure, edit me out on a legitimate use of the word) bomb going backwards that had a baby with a mini-sub.

I was actually thinking that this must be a tugboat; well, actually my first thought, was that it must be a mining boat mistakenly rendered in Minmatar colors. Gas miner maybe? ..then I saw the missile hardpoints and remembered a bit of what I'd read in the Devpost.

The front end looks like a beetle's mandibles. I like that part. The unoriginal ass end? Not so much.

LOVE IT, it's why I picked minmatar, the more rust the better!

Also you have to picture it with missle turrets on it, plus the official normal maps and shaders. It'll fit right in with the typhoon.

This isn't just an ugly ship, by the way. This is a poor model. You can have an ugly ship that is a still a skillfully crafted model. This ain't it.

This is poor, lazy modelling. This is a 3D model that a 13 year old with a few months of practice in 3D Studio might make. Then they upload it to DeviantArt and people know it's ugly but since the creator is only 13 people are like "Wow, really cool ship! I like it! You keep on practicing!" just because they pity the kid.

ASS.

That's what this thing is.

It actually offends me.

I think it looks pretty good, if a bit uninteresting. "Catamaraning" it would help out IMO.

E: Now it reminds me of the Taidan carrier with extra bits.

I would widen the proportions by extruding part of the fuselage and setting the panels slightly back and to the rear.

I really hate to knock the modelers, but it doesn't look like they spent more than 10 minutes on the design of this thing. I mean it has NO character; at a bare minimum give it some pipes or exposed structure instead of this unfinished box on the top.

I'm glad it looks horrible, I expect nothing else from Minmatar. I eagerly await to see the Amarr T2 version. It better be sleek as ****.
