Greetings,

My corp members and I want to do some testing in wormholes and for the life of me I can't seem to find any, I have read many old posts about Devs giving players regions for specific WH entry points and wanting to know if we can start and updated 2k12 listing for those who want to test also.

Thanks.

Telling players where wormholes are isn't one of the dedicated services we provide. It is sometimes done if a developer has free time, but to maintain a daily list would be too much maintenance for us. If you catch me on the test server just poke me and I'll help you if I have time.

The easiest way to get into a W-system (WS) on a test server is to find someone who has a pilot who lives in a WS, get them to log into the test server and scan out the exit. In the worst case, you may have to get an alt into a WS then wait for a mirror to be made.

The reason is WHs are one sided until someone warps to them. The static in a WS only has the end in the WS as a scannable item. Its not until someone warps to it that the end in normal space is created. The result is there are very few WHs to be found, only the occasional dynamic WH.

This gives you the second way to get into a WS on the test server: Keep scanning until you find a dynamic.

Actually we were looking to start a list via the player base not the devs. Not enough interest or folks testing in W-space I guess.

I actually asked upwards of 12 times a day at various times and scanned 80 systems with no luck. The one player response I got was someone who sent me 70 jumps for the fun of it with no WH at the end of the ****** rainbow...Thanks GTN you douchebag.

Over the course of two weeks I scanned daily my only real finds were WH's with nulls statics so no help.

Thanks for the response Goliath. We weren't actually looking for you to give a list daily, as Cyber said, we were actually trying to get players involved.

I really can't say enough how frustrating this whole endeavor is. We only found a C5 due to one member having been logged off in one at the time of a mirror so it truly is like finding a needle in a haystack. After having finally getting part of what we needed into the WH we then got booted to Buckingham which has an even older mirror and now starting this nightmare all over again. Had it actually been a fresh mirror things would be workable but now we not only have to re-move but re-train etc etc.

Now before the whining flames start all you folks who test non W-Space on the server can get moved instantly to a combat system pew till your hearts content, you also get market systems every couple of jumps. Testing in w-space is a whole different type of beast requiring tons of advanced set up and time invested before even getting to the point of beginning what you are trying to accomplish. On top of this getting booted out the day before you start testing is a slap in the face. I understand nothing is permanent on the test just wish maybe the singularity or moveme channels could have had a warning that EVE players were getting booted from Sisi. After having paid for 3 and 4 account for the better part of half a decade I certainly think I have earned the right to express these frustrations.

On the flip side of that coin:

I see many positive changes in Eve over the years and I fully understand that with the launch of Dust you folks have your plates full. I don't want to detract from that in any way and we all thank everyone responsible for the hard work and effort put into the game. So while frustrated I understand you can't do everything all the time.
