Title says it all basically, i ran into a player returning to the game after a few years off and noticed he had the link to mission reports still, but was pulling up the wrong faction for the area of space he was in. To new or returning players it can be very hard to tell what faction your going to be up against on alot of the missions.

There should be an emblem next to the system name on ALL missions, not just some. I don't see the point in the information being there only half the time. Please fix this so new players stop dying in a ball of fire Big smile

Perhaps the Mission Agent doesn't have that intelligence available?

Perhaps players should learn how to fly combat ships without step by step guides?

Perhaps the system is working well enough as it is?

Perhaps your new player is pulling up the wrong mission report despite having the actual faction they'll be facing spelled out in the mission description? "The Angel Cartel blah blah blah Sanshas Nation has been blah blah blah Interbus crew blah blah" - Worlds Collide comes in many different flavours (and at least two of them are the same factions, just in different rooms).

I think I remember one where it was not mentionned. Of course it had to be drones so my kinetic missile lacked oomph to go through...

The only missions that don't have emblems are rouge drones, mercenaries, pirates, thieves etc. They don't have emblems, they aren't proper factions.

The enemies you encounter depend on the region of space you are in as well as the corporation you are running for.
