  • Verb: Swindle.

    • If you don't like how much ISK we're getting for this then simply don't participate. But don't feel like you have to bump this thread with ignorant comments.

    Um yea I do. They obviously consider the Etana's value at 30Bil. But rather than sell it straight up to some uber rich EVE Bittervet, they are doing it in a much more fun way that gives many more people a chance to win a big prize for a low buy in.

    Personally I think it is a great way to do this.

    First the cambion BPC attempted sell at 75b, now this. I mean this question genuinely, no offense or rudeness intended - but why do this year's AT winners think these hulls are valued significantly higher than hulls considerably more desired and considerably more rare?

    I think mostly because we've been contacted by quite a few w-space groups and pilots who are truly interested in the hull. The thing is, w-space pilots tend to have a larger revenue stream but also tend to spend their ISK on bling, while the null sec pilots have Supercarriers and Titans as the end game and thus tend to hoard the ISK. This lotto is the result of those event, we thought of ways of making the ship available to a broader spectrum of pilots. In the end we are not asking any single person to buy up all the tickets, we are just saying that 20mil buys you a 1 in 4k chance to own a truly unique ship.

    I'm gonna get a few tickets cuz I want that awesome ship. I don't think your gonna scam us, but to quell everyone's fears perhaps you could get Grendell or Somer to be your 3rd party. They are both respected 3rd parties.

    I still don't understand what makes you guys so special that you think you deserve to make 30 billion for a lottery? I get some people who make lotteries bank like a billion or two for there time and effort but what makes you guys think 30 billion is a good fee? You would have to be high to buy into this. I think I understand why Chribba dident get behind this, I would have avoided it to.

    - Why not do the honest thing and put it all on hold until you get a Trusted third party to cover it for you? To prove you arent scamming?
