So, I just have a simple question... most every bit of fiction I have read, along with all the graphical assets I can find, assert that we are nude inside our capsules.

Corpses are shown without clothes... the trailers and videos which show people in capsules or dying show them without clothes. Several fictions reference putting on clothes and washing off the capsule goo when docking.

So... in our Captains' Quarters.... we dock our capsule on the front porch facing into a giant hangar where presumably, all the other visitor's balconies look out as well. There are no visible facilities for bathing or removing the goo, or any storage areas for clothing. Now the clothing could be stashed in a small cubby in the capsule... but that doesn't explain the goo removal, or the complete lack of privacy.

Either we have newer generation pods where the goo evaporates and doesn't cause fabric wrinkling, or.... it just wasn't even considered when the CQs were made. Anyone else wonder about this?

I know most people keep the CQ off all the time, but I use it regularly when I am going to be docked up for more than a few minutes...

"It wasn't considered" is the best answer I have, especially given that an earlier version of the CQ quite clearly showed us in a more private area, and dealing with the issues of pod goo.

Maybe magic nanomachine clothes that assemble and disassemble on demand? I assume the come with a contract to provide new ones at any station in case of podding too. It would explain how they can cost so much.

Exactly the reason why I personally am not happy with CQ (and its abandonment). The lore doesn't add up and the functionality is just... not there yet. :/

Really needs to be expanded.

Yeah, CCP devs said it was an ugly way to do it, and they would change it some time, but they thought there would be more complaints if the capsule wasn't there at all.

Then again, there's plenty of fiction where capsuleers are naked without caring much. I guess it's because they might always feel naked while they're outside of their capsule.

PEGI/ESRB would want to bump the game's rating up.
